Neo Financial is looking for a full time Customer Chargeback Specialist to join our team in Calgary, AB. As Customer Chargeback Specialist, you will serve as the go-to person for handling customer chargeback situations, going the extra mile to assist customers, offering them the kind of help you would want to receive.

What you'll be doing:

  • Investigate cardholder dispute, recoup and resolve chargebacks
  • Evidence gathering and chargeback reporting to MasterCard
  • Process all incoming and outgoing chargeback claims, and submissions to MasterCard
  • Investigate situations of possible friendly fraud, compile evidence for disputes
  • Work to build out processes and procedures for various chargeback related issues
  • Work alongside the support team to develop best practices related to chargebacks.
  • Review transactions to determine whether items are chargeback eligible

Who we're looking for:

  • 1+ years experience dealing with chargebacks as an issuer.
  • Mastercard experience is preferred, but other Credit Card experience is welcome.
  • Able to excel in a team environment. Relates well to people from all backgrounds and fosters the teamwork approach
  • Very organized and capable of prioritizing tasks in a dynamic work environment
  • Demonstrated ability to handle customer issues resourcefully and with completeness compassion, polished communication and empathy
  • Someone with a desire to build. Neo is growing fast and we need someone who wants to own an important part of the credit card lifecycle.
