Neo Financial has an opportunity for a full time Digital Specialist, Paid Search to join our team in Calgary, AB. We’re looking for an experienced and data driven marketer with strong knowledge of paid search channels to help drive acquisition of new customers to our brand.

About the role:

As a member of the Growth Marketing Team, you’ll be responsible for managing paid search performance. You will be responsible for deploying our Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) across paid search channels to meet our new customer acquisition goals, while optimizing for high quality customers and maximizing ROI based on our budget. You’ll be working with cross functional partners on Finance, Creative, Analytics, BI, Martech and Product to build financial forecasting, develop hard-working creative assets, and build tools & dashboarding to better analyze and automate campaign performance. In addition to acquiring and retaining customers to our core products, you’ll also be responsible for using search channels to increase adoption of new products/verticals, develop co-marketing initiatives with our retail partners, and launch in new markets.

Who you are:

You’re a results-oriented and data-driven performance marketer with demonstrated experience managing multiple paid advertising agencies and in-house teams/campaigns. You take a customer-centric approach, and you’re passionate about doing what’s right for our customers and brand. You are highly analytical and count A/B testing, optimizing customer acquisition costs, and analyzing campaign performance among your core competencies. You likely have some deep experience in a few marketing channels, and have the aptitude to learn new channels quite quickly.  Most importantly, you are eager to roll up your sleeves to find opportunities and efficiencies in a fast-moving company at the forefront of digital banking.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop the Search acquisition strategy - including roadmaps and long-term forecasting
  • Build and manage Search campaigns for current and new products
  • Analyze performance data and provide relevant insights and action plans around keywords, landing pages, ad copy, audiences, bidding algorithms, competition and more
  • Own scaling and optimizations for all products to hit the channel growth goals
  • Relentlessly test new segments, strategies and messaging as well as working with the Web team to coordinate tests for on-site optimizations
  • Provide regular channel performance reports and ad hoc reports
  • Report key learnings and major takeaways to internal and external stakeholders

Who we're looking for:

  • 3+ years running complex search campaigns with large budgets (hundreds of thousands of dollars per month)Deep familiarity with CPA, CPC, CPM, and LTV
  • Highly proficient in Excel / Google Sheets, as well as a strong grasp of funnel analytics, A/B testing, and metrics driven performance marketing
  • Experience with Web & App Tracking/Attribution
  • Experience in managing and growing consumer digital brands
  • Deep understanding of organic and paid marketing channels
  • Outstanding ability to think creatively, identify and resolve problems
  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere
  • Ability to synthesize complex ideas into actionable recommendations for senior executives
