Bring your Tims Mastercard® credit limit to Neo Financial
Tims Financial is ending service of the Tims Mastercard on October 1, 2026, but you have the option to bring your credit limit and transfer your balance from your Tims Mastercard to Neo.
Since you already have a Neo Financial credit card, you’re eligible to combine the credit limit of your Tims Mastercard and your Neo credit card. Combining credit accounts is simple:

Because of your open Neo credit card, we can transfer your balance and move your Tims credit limit directly onto your Neo card.
You don’t need to create a new account or apply for anything.
What happens when you combine your credit accounts
Your Tims credit limit and balance will be combined with your existing Neo card
You’ll manage all activity in the Neo app
You’ll stop earning Tims Rewards Points, but will still be able to redeem any remaining points in the Tims app
Your Tims credit account will automatically close following the transfer of your balance and credit limit to your Neo credit card
What happens if you don’t move your card to Neo
Until October 1, you can continue using your Tims Mastercard and earn Tims Rewards Points, but after October 1 the following will occur.
You will be sent a separate Neo-Branded credit card¹
After October 1, you will be sent a separate Neo-branded credit card¹ with no cashback or rewards.
You can only access support via phone
After October 1, your new card will get email statements, with no app or web support. You can contact phone support for help.
You may not be eligible to combine and transfer
After October 1, you may lose the option to combine your credit limit and transfer your balance into your Neo credit card.
Combine your credit accounts in seconds
Closing your Tims account may temporarily affect your credit score. Moving your credit limit to your Neo card may help keep your credit utilization lower, which can support your credit score over time.
